Friendly encounter with a stranger

Stranger: Hello
Me: Hi
Stranger: You are a very beautiful lady.
Me:Thank you
Stranger: Are you taken?
Me: heh... Yes.
Stranger: Whoever that is, they're very lucky to have you.
Me: Heh, thanks. *I just wanted to slice my bread*

That is the gist of what transpired between me and a guy at the store today. I really didn't know what to do, at least he seemed to be having a good day, and wished wanted me to have a better one than I wished him.
Oh, and I tried using double pointed knitting needles today to make some tubes for socks. so far so good. But Ive got other things to take care of so these will have to wait.

Keeping Awake

Today I had orientation, This is some of the stuff I did to keep awake after the first 5 hours... I only had a pen... I can't commit!

Its black and white because of it being a light scribe label. Oh and the space in the text is its missing my phone number...

Sorry for the absence, I have been out of town. Here we have some sketches of what I would make a certain man look like if he were to contract me into creating a card for him. The numbers on the side are how long it took me to sketch them out, a bit on the high end, but not too off. Hope he likes them.

Illustrator practice

What started off as me trying to make some kinda green monster thingy, turned into a whole different sea creature thingy.  He doesn't like the idea of bubbles coming out the sides of his head.  I know I'd be a little unsettled.

Get'n a smog check

Went to get a smog check on Ian's car, this is part of what I did while I waited. Ian was bored.

Yay, I made it in Illustrator, practicing tools I haven't used as much as I'd like to have in the past, made this faster this way. Tools including but not limited to, pencil, pen, blob, eraser, and others... my workflow has leveled.
